Şişecam is formed in 1934 with the name of "Türk Cam Sanayi", and currently they operate in 13 different countries and 44 different facilities. Our project involves the purchasing and inventory management structures of the facilities in Turkey. In the current state, suppliers deliver the materials to each factory with their own resources. A new registration system is designed after the duplicates that occur in the registration of the materials, as well as the shortcomings in the material definitions are analyzed. Due to the decentralized inventory management of the company, an excess amount of stock is observed and some of these items become inert after some time. After the examination of the problem symptoms, specifications of centralized inventory system will be discussed.
