Reckitt Benckiser “RB” is fast moving consumer goods “FMCG” company which established in 1923 in Germany and has been operating its business since 1986 in Turkey while having 60 offices in 17 countries worldwide. While it has a factory in Tuzla and two warehouses in Gebze and Hadımköy, headquarter of the company is located in İstanbul. RB currently operates 17 brands and more than 400 SKUs in the business. The information given by the company indicates that the company is experiencing loss of revenue due to the lost sales and excess inventory problems. When the data examined, it is seen that the consistency of the demand forecasting is low and that it does not co-ordinate with the inventory system is two of the reasons causing the problems of lost sales and excess inventories. Therefore, it is aimed to solve the problems arising from demand forecasting and inventory system.
