First Place in 20th İTÜ Industrial Engineering Student Symposium (EMOS 2013) Project Competition
The 2012-2013 Systems Design project "Designing a Domestic Milkrun Material Supply System for an Automobile Manufacturing Company" won the first place in the 20th İTÜ Industrial Engineering Student Symposium (EMOS) Project Competition in February 2013.
Congratulations to our students Vugar Abdullayev, Ezgi Akkaya, Murat Cesur and Mürüvvet Kübra Gürbüz, and our faculty members Pelin Bayındır and İsmail Serdar Bakal.
First Place in INFORMS 2012 Case and Teaching Materials Competition
A case study entitled "Predicting ATM Transactions at İş Bank," based on the 2011-2012 Systems Design project "Bankamatik Tahsis Yeri Karar Destek Sistemi Tasarımı" won the first place in the INFORMS Thirteenth Annual Case and Teaching Materials Competition in Phoenix, Arizona, in October 2012.
The competition is jointly sponsored by the INFORMS' Education Committee, INFORM-ED, and the INFORMS' Case and Teaching Materials Initiative.
Congratulations to our students Gökhan Ceyhan, Sinem Mutlu and Şahan Yıldız, and our faculty members Sinan Gürel, Gülser Köksal and Murat Köksalan who jointly developed this case.

First Place in INFORMS 2006 Case Competition
A case study entitled "Assigning Regions to Sales Representatives at Pfizer Turkey," based on the 2003-2004 Systems Design project "Pfizer Türkiye Satış Bölgeleri Düzenlemesi" won the first place in the INFORMS eventh Annual Case Competition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in Fall 2006.
The competition is jointly sponsored by the INFORMS' Education Committee, INFORM-ED, and the INFORMS' Case and Teaching Materials Initiative.
Congratulations to our student Sakine Batun and our faculty member Murat Köksalan who jointly developed this case.
